      18 September 2021

    Hi All

Just a quick update, as this page is due to come to an end at the end of this month.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to this page ❤ it is truly amazing! When we started this page we had a target and I can say you guys have more than tripled the original goal, all I can say is WOW and thanks, I have loved reading all the comments it has being an amazing ride.

Even through this page is coming to an end if you want to stay up to date with my story you can join our facebook group - it is called Tracey's Cancer Journey - we regularly update it with how treatment is going and what we have being up to (not much in level 4)

I had my first round of Keytruda a couple of weeks a go, and it was pretty uneventful, it is given via IV but only takes about 30 minutes so it was very quick, it has very few side effects for the first couple of rounds, so I came away feeling relatively normal, the most painful bit was paying the bill!!!

Anyway that is from me look forward to seeing you all on Facebook

Kia Kaha, many thanks and much Aroha

over and out - 🎤 mike drop

lot's of love Tracey, Nigel, Alyssa and Drew xxxx

    ❤❤❤❤

  • Update on Bucket List

    Hi Everyone

First of all thank you to everyone that has donated to this page. We have being blown away by the generosity. Thank you also to Jacqui, Lauren and Craig who had their own fundraising pages and did an amazing job!

We had an awesome day at the Winery for the "Hair for Tracey Day". We had a BBQ, Raffles and 15 people shaved for me. It was really a brilliant day and thank you Delegat! I work for the most amazing company with the most awesome people!

Update on the Bucket list, we have not really planned anything as yet, I have being going through some Chemo and have not being feeling very well. But so far on the list is:

A Week in Queenstown (we are going to a Wedding!)

50th Birthday Party for me in Feb

and that is about it for now- it is so hard to plan in these mad Covid Times, but we will work on it in the coming weeks and keep you updated!

An update on my health, I have finished Chemo, I had 3 rounds over 9 weeks and unfortunately it did not shrink or slow the cancer down 😥 so my next course of treatment is an unfunded Drug called Keytruda. I hope to start that treatment in the next couple of weeks. This again is not a cure but a way to get a bit more precious time. They want to do 4x rounds of the drug and then a scan to see if it is working. Unfortunately it works differently for everyone so not sure if it will be successful - but willing to give anything a try.

This drug costs $10,000 per round and a lot of people (who have not yet seen this page) have said they want to give a donation towards funding the treatment. So we have decided to keep this page open, and any new donations we get will go towards the treatment.

Once again thanks again for all the generous donations and messages

    love to you all

    Tracey 🤗🤗🤗

Above is a photo of all the people who shaved for me at Delegat.
