Help Tyler Represent Harbour Basketball at the Top Level
Our 15-year-old son Tyler has been playing basketball since he was just 6 years old. From the moment he picked up a ball, the court has been his happy place — basketball is not just a game for him, it’s his passion and his dream.
This year, after years of hard work and dedication, Tyler was proudly selected for the Under 16 Harbour Maroon team — the top representative team on the North Shore, Auckland. This is a huge achievement and a massive milestone in his basketball journey.
But reaching this level comes with big financial costs.
Basketball is one of the lowest funded sports in New Zealand. There is no national or regional funding available for players — everything is paid for by families. Tournament fees, travel, accommodation, uniforms, training camps — it all adds up fast. It truly takes a village to support a player at this level.
That’s why we’ve set up this Givealittle page — to ask our community, friends, and extended whānau for help. Every little bit makes a difference and goes directly towards supporting Tyler’s representative journey.
We’re incredibly proud of Tyler and how far he’s come, and any support you can give — whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page — means the world to us.
Thank you for helping keep Tyler on the court and chasing his dream.
