Join Tyron at the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championship as he proudly represents Nz!
Auckland
Kia Ora koutou,
Ko Tyron taku ingoa,
I have been selected to represent New Zealand at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships. The athletes racing for New Zealand were announced on Friday the 6th of July at AON Opens National Meet 2018.
The Championship is taking place in Fiji over the course of 5 days (23-27 August). Total Cost $6300 for the whole trip.
Because the team going was just announced very close to the dates, my family are unable to come up with the money on such short notice (3 weeks). I am asking for financial support so I am able to go over to Fiji and represent my country, Aotearoa.
I am stoked to get selected because of the hard work I have put into the pool leading up to trials.
I have being swimming competitively since 11 and not long after starting out I qualified to swim at a National meet, Nz Juniors.
Since then I have continued to improve in swimming and race good times. My favorite events are 50m sprints and 100m free.
I currently hold the Nz record 16yrs 100m free record of 50.81. It was this time that I qualified for JPP.
I do 9 sessions a week and 3-4 dry land sessions. Every session is 2 hrs long and my day starts at 5am, in our outdoor pool.
Please join with me and help get me to Fiji to swim in this epic swimming championship. I hope you have enjoyed reading abit about me and would like to say thank u for your support, Big or small, every cent helps.
Nga mihi nui.
