From Kiwis to Kyiv: Supporting Ukraine with Humanitarian Aid

We are Ukrainian Kiwis, but our heart is with our country. Ukraine has now been defending itself from Russia’s attacks for over a year since the full-scale invasion. The war has displaced millions from their homes. Our friends and relatives are living under constant sirens and bomb explosions, struggling to survive.

We could not stand back. Our organisation UANZ has been coordinating donations here on the ground to send back home. Generous New Zealanders, both people and businesses, have donated medicine, warm clothes, blankets and toys. We now need your help to send these goods to those in need.

We already shipped one 20-foot container to Kharkiv, one of the worst affected cities. On the ground, a proven organisation called Dobrovoz received the goods. They distributed them among families in need, as well as those who fight in the army.

We now have a 40-foot container, double of the size of the first one, full of goods ready to ship but need your help to cover the shipment costs.
