Help To Bring Our Brother Home

Kia Orana to All,

Our whanau has recieved some very distressing and sad news today. Sunday 16th June 2024 that our brother Joseph had passed away while on holiday in the cook islands. It was always on the cards for Joseph to visit the islands, where our father was born and raised. His dream getaway and holiday he saved for and worked extremely hard for, unfortunately he experienced an unfortunate medical situation that in turn took his life. In this case has left myself and my siblings with some financial issues on how we will be getting our brother back from Rarotonga. Our close family have managed to get our brother from Aitutaki to Rarotonga we are of course awaiting more information about times and date for his flight but have been given an estimate of funds needed to get him back to Aotearoa. We are seeking any sort of koha to help towards getting our brother home whanau.

A bit about our brother he was a very sociable, loud, kind, happy go lucky man. Who always cared about others and at times was strong minded. He always could put a smile on the faces of people he had come across, our brother lived a very private life. He moved to Wellington to study initially, he was a very hardworking man. Socially driven he made his life down in Wellington. We want to bring him home to be with us and his whanau he made down in wellington. His character was second to none, inspired myself and everyone he had come across always smiled, you had that on point Joe. Thank you ❤️
