Raising funds to allow all of our tamariki to learn about NZ's governance, history and culture!
Avondale, Auckland
In October this year, the Year 7 and 8 students of Auckland-based, Jireh Christian School will be travelling to Wellington for an extraordinary opportunity to learn about the New Zealand Government.
With the 2023 election approaching, we have planned an exciting three-day itinerary that includes a visit to the iconic Beehive for an insider's look at parliament, exploring the thought-provoking Gallipoli Exhibition at Te Papa museum, and delving into the treasure trove of knowledge at the NZ Archives Museum. These experiences will enable our students to develop a deeper understanding of our country's governance, history, and culture.
We understand that not all families have the means to cover the cost of this trip, but we strongly believe that every student deserves this invaluable experience. That is why we are reaching out to our community and beyond, asking for your generous contributions. Your donations will be used to bless those families who are struggling to meet the financial requirements but deeply desire for their child to participate in this trip. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and help shape the future of our young learners.
We pray that the seeds you sow in financial support will yield a bountiful harvest of blessings for you and your loved ones.
