Help Us Build a Safe Cycling Space in Hamilton

Hi everyone,

I’m raising funds to lease a small industrial/retail unit in Hamilton for Ride Your Trike NZ. This space will allow us to run private Try-A-Trike sessions, rentals, and store adaptive cycling equipment safely.

Growing up with cerebral palsy, I often felt like I couldn’t join in the same way as other kids. The first time I rode an adaptive trike, I felt freedom and independence — something I want everyone to experience.

Right now, we run sessions wherever we can, but families often need a safe, private space. This unit will give us a place to empower riders of all abilities, build confidence, and make adaptive cycling accessible.

The cost for 12 months is $20,000–$30,000, and every donation — big or small — will make a real difference. By supporting this, you’re helping people move, grow, and feel included, just like I did when I first rode a trike.
