We are a not for profit camp & conference centre, who offers exciting adventure activities for kids and their families.

For over 30 years the El Rancho Flying Fox was known far and wide.

It was an exhilarating activity that is now etched into the memories of thousands of Kiwis - young and old.

Sadly In 2013, our Flying Fox came to an abrupt end, after the tree that supported the tower and line mechanism, had to be felled for safety reasons.

Since then, we have been planning it’s come back.

BUT THIS TIME IT WILL BE BIGGER & BETTER!

The full build price with all labour and components is $350,000. We also have money coming in from other fundraising endeavours alongside Givealittle.

About us

El Rancho (Waikanae Christian Holiday Park) is a not for profit Camp & Conference Centre, in Waikanae Beach on the Kapiti Coast. We have been offering exciting and challenging adventure activities for children and their families for almost 60 years.

Use of funds

The funds will be used to build the Zipline activity including labour and materials. The build cost is $350,000. We also have other fundraising efforts underway bringing in donations from elsewhere.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform.
