Thank you so much for your generosity - here's how we spent the funds!
17 October 20242 weeks ago we handed over the keys to Carlos, Andrea, Andrek's and Daniela's new home! With the funds raised from this Give A Little campaign we were able to purchase a new washing machine (Andrea's most pressing need as the current machine no longer spun); a double bed frame and mattress for Carlos and Andrea; a new mattress for Daniele (her current bed base is sturdy and in good condition), a new stove (their old stove barely worked), new bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows, pillowcases, some floor mats, curtains, interior paint and a couple of pots of flowers to make the home feel more like a home! They loved their new home and the fitout items you have helped fund. Thank you so much for blessing this family. They will be moving in as soon as power is connected (needed for Andrek's hospital bed and the washing machine).
