Help us buy 3 beds & mattresses, 3 blankets, 3 sheet sets & 5 pillows for a family in need living in Mexico!
Bay of Plenty, Tauranga City
Break Free Charitable Trust is raising $2,000 to buy beds, blankets, fitted sheets, pillows & pillow slips for a Mexican family living in the colonias of Tijuana. 79 year old grandparents Andrea & Carlos are looking after their 2 grandkids Daniela (13) and Andrek (16). Andrek has a disability and spends his time in a wheelchair. They desperately need housing, and the family is having a basic home built for them by a Volunteer Build team from New Zealand starting September 30th 2024. The cost of building materials for each house is covered by the building team and other sponsors and once finished we would like to buy enough beds and linen for the family (budget $2,000). If we have any money left over we will buy other household items they need. Thanks so much for helping us give a family beds to sleep in!

About us
The Trust was set up to provide relief of poverty, hunger and sickness by providing food, clothing & shelter to the poor. It also provides education and training to the public and schools about issues of world poverty and how to alleviate those issues.
Use of funds
3 beds, 3 mattresses, 3 blankets, 3 sheet sets, 5 pillows and any other house hold items that are needed.

Thank you so much for your donations so far towards the house fit out for our Mexican family. Because of your generosity, we've been able to buy some sheets, towels, blankets and pillows to take with us to Mexico for our family (its much more cost effective to buy them in NZ at the moment). Thanks again :-)
