Fundraising to buy equipment to produce video content for the celebration of St Anthony's Church centenary and the Traditional Latin Mass

Gonville, Whanganui

In 2024, St Anthony's of Wanganui will be celebrating its centenary. This historical church is home to the largest Catholic parish in NZ where the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) is daily celebrated.

To mark this special occasion, I am independently producing a video on "a year in the life of St Anthony's", capturing a snapshot of the diverse range of activities and works that reflect the dynamic and vibrant life of this growing parish.

But this will just be the beginning of something bigger. St Anthony's is part of a story yet to be told, the story of the return of the Traditional Latin Mass in New Zealand.

This is a history of Masses in homes, cancelled priests, universal confusion, but a love of the Mass of all times and a steely resolve to defend and promote it.

In order to instil in the younger generation an appreciation of the sacrifices made to ensure they receive the purity of the Faith and to draw more Catholics to the Tridentine Mass, I will produce a documentary relating the extraordinary history of the TLM in NZ.

But I cannot do this alone.

I have invested much money in acquiring camera equipment but need further financial help to procure audio and video-editing equipment.

The Traditional Latin Mass is our greatest treasure which we must share with the rest of NZ!

Please help me promote the "Mass of the Ages" and bring more souls to cherish the greatest gift this side of heaven.

To show our gratitude, all donors will be prayed for in our daily family rosary.

Use of funds

All funds raised will go towards buying photographic equipment (camera, lenses, filters and microphones)
