Support two Waikato law students to compete at an international university negotiations competition in Australia
Nationwide
Kia ora!
We are two law students from the University of Waikato who have been selected to represent our university and our region at an international negotiations competition in Adelaide Australia this July. This is an incredible opportunity for us to compete against top law students from New Zealand and Australia, while building practical skills in advocacy, strategy, and client-focused negotiation.
We’ve worked hard to get to this point - winning the regional senior negotiation competition, developing our skills, and pushing ourselves outside the classroom. Being selected to compete is something we’re both incredibly proud of.
However, the cost of attending is significant. Travel, accommodation, and competition fees quickly add up, and as students, this is a big financial hurdle. That’s why we’re reaching out for support.
Any contribution - big or small - will go directly towards helping us get to Adelaide and represent not only our university, but New Zealand on an international stage.
Your support means more than just funding our trip. It’s an investment in the next generation of legal professionals and in opportunities that allow students like us to grow, learn, and succeed.
We’ll be sharing updates along the way so you can follow our journey and see the impact of your support.
Ngā mihi nui,
Indigo Marra Cambie & Grace Harper
All funds raised will go directly towards essential costs such as flights, accommodation, competition registration, and transport - helping make it possible for us to travel to Australia and represent our university and New Zealand.
