While visiting his grandkids here in New Zealand, our beloved dad Annand Lal suffered a sudden and life-threatening brain bleed, which resulted in a severe stroke. It left the entire left side of his body paralyzed, and our lives were turned upside down in an instant.

He was rushed to the hospital for emergency care and spent over three weeks receiving critical treatment. While we are deeply grateful he pulled through, the financial burden has been devastating. As a visitor, he had no access to public healthcare coverage, and his travel insurance only covered a small portion of the cost. We are now facing an overwhelming medical bill that we simply cannot afford.
