Help us fix Gin

Our wee 3 month old Gin ( Staff x Lab ) hasn't had the best start in life. A litter of 12 puppies and mum became unmaternal at 2 weeks old. She has been hand raised which may be contributing factor to health problems due to nutrition or can be genetic problem.

Gin has an enlarge heart which is needing further investigations. Vets have refereed her for a ECG which we are awaiting on. She will have further x-rays and tests done throughout her life. X-rays range from the average cost being between $150 to $250 and a typical cardiac work-up ranges from $725 to $1,100, with an average cost of about $900 (ECG) and that's not including the consultation and examination on each visit.

Her Heart condition can also affect other organs in her body since the heart is the main organ.

Gin will most likely be put on medication's for her heart when the vets find out exactly what is wrong and may possibly need other medications for other organs if they start to show decline.

Gin is a happy and cheerful puppy, full of kisses, extremely cuddly and her personality is starting to shine through. She got a certificate from the vets while in there for a day for tests winning 'cutest puppy of the day' as she fractured a toe that she got from running into the wall when playing

All money raised, big or small will be going into all her medical bills and further bills and medications.
