Fundraising to travel to Roller Skating Competition in USA in January 2023
Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui
Jessica, Ben and Coach Mum Kylie, are travelling to Florida for the America's Cup Figure Skating Competition in January 2023.
Roller Skating is a self-funded sport. We do it for the love. Because we are choosing to go to this competition, we cannot get funding from other organisations. We would really appreciate any help because this trip will be very expensive for the three of us.
Jessica and Ben both came home with medals from the recent 2022 Oceania Championships and are both National Champions as well. Kylie has taught multiple National and International champions. We are excited to keep learning and gaining international experience.
Travelling to America's Cup will give Ben more male competition than he has in New Zealand which will keep pushing him to increase his potential. Jessica will be in her final year of the Junior grade at this competition and is looking forward to more international exposure.
Thank you all so much, your support is appreciated.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! 3 May 2023
This is a long overdue appreciation post to say thank you for all the support from our family and friends through this give-a-little. Jessica, Ben and I had the most amazing time at the America's Cup competition in January this year. Ben came home with three gold medals and Jessica gained personal bests. All my skaters performed their best and had a great time gaining experience and new friends. Since coming home we have been straight back into the NZ competition season and Jessica and Ben have gained more personal bests over the last two months. Thank you all again for helping us make this opportunity a reality.
Thank you so much Grace!
