Help New Zealand win the trophy back!
Nationwide
The recently selected Elite Women's Underwater Hockey Team are heading off to Quebec City, Canada to represent New Zealand at the 20th World Championships, in July 2018.
Underwater Hockey is unfortunately not a funded sport in New Zealand, therefore we all need to pay our own way to play the sport we love for our country. The total cost for players is approximately $7,000 and your contribution will go towards funding out flights, accommodation and other travel expenses.
We have a strict and intense training programme (average of 10 sessions per week), on top of balancing full time employment or study to help generate the money required to fund our World Championship effort.
These hard-working girls below are all very excited to be attending World Champs:
Rachel Arbuckle (Auckland)
Emma Bavelaar (Auckland)
Leah Chamberlin-Gunn (Wellington)
Rachel Colquhoun (Auckland)
Rebecca Gatland (Auckland)
Claire George (Wellington)
Grace McGaw (Auckland)
Paige Moran (Auckland)
Emma Rae (Auckland)
Gabi Steer (Wellington)
Abby Vorstermans (Wellington)
Christie Whitehead (Auckland)
