A fundraiser for funeral costs for Reuben Hempel and a memorial service in NZ

Auckland

Reuben passed away in Sydney Australia. Throughout his life he has crossed between both sides of the Tasman and his loving families. We want to give Reuben a fitting send off in Sydney and then bring his ashes home to New Zealand for a memorial service. The Dogg left a lasting impression on those he met and we appreciate your offers and thought this would be a great way to help cover his funeral costs.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
