Help CASS grow a green oasis with trees and plants for our new school's gardens, creating a vital, natural space for our amazing learners.
Mount Roskill, Auckland
Imagine a beautiful, natural oasis where every child feels safe, happy, and inspired to learn. That's what we're creating at Central Auckland Specialist School (CASS)! We're Auckland's newest special school, a nurturing place for children and young people from Central Auckland with diverse learning needs. We truly believe in the amazing potential of every child.
Our brand new base school in Mt Roskill, next to Wesley Intermediate, will give our students and dedicated staff the purpose-built spaces they need to thrive. A huge part of this new campus is our inclusive playground—a specially designed, safe haven where our students can develop important skills and enjoy the freedom of being outdoors.
To make our new school truly special, we need your help to bring nature to life! We're looking to fill our gardens with beautiful trees and plants. Your donation will help us create a peaceful, sensory-rich outdoor space that perfectly complements our amazing playground. It will be a place where our students can connect with nature, find calm, and simply enjoy being surrounded by greenery.
You could contribute a specific amount towards:
Trees like:
160L Red Maple, Tulip Tree or Kowhai ($620 ea)
80L Akeake or Rewarewa ($408 ea)
45L Kahikatea or Ti Kouka ($196 ea)
Smaller Plants like
Heliotrope, Hebe and Harakeke (flax): $17.50 each
Or you can donate any amount you wish! Please help us cultivate an inspiring, green environment where every child at CASS can learn, play, and flourish!
CASS is a place of learning for students who have an intellectual disability, many of whom also have physical, sensory or behavioural difficulties. CASS serves the suburbs of Central Auckland. The students of the school range from 5 to 21 years of age.
Donations will be spent on trees and plants to be planted in the grounds of the new CASS base school.
The CASS oasis has started to grow..... 3 November 2025
The new school's gardens are truly starting to blossom! It's incredible to see how the planting is turning our outdoor areas into vital, hands-on learning environments that enrich the whole school.
We've heard from so many families and supporters who still want to make a special contribution and literally help us green the final spaces at the new CASS base school. This is your chance to plant a permanent seed of support!
