Help Us Grow a Māra Kai in Tokoroa!
By Cultivated Harmony Inc
We’re building a Community Garden (Māra Kai) in Tokoroa—a space where whānau can grow kai, learn together, and connect with the whenua. But we need your help to bring this vision to life.
Our Goal: $50,000 – so far we have reached: $6,000 from local fundraising such as raffles, sausage sizzles, and donated funds.
Your generous donation will help us:
-Build more raised garden beds for vegetables and herbs
-Purchase essential gardening tools and container to store them
-Construct a secure greenhouse for seedlings and all year growing
-Provide training and workshops for volunteers and whānau
This garden will be a place for:
-Whānau and tamariki to learn about growing their food
-Community connection and shared purpose
-Sustainable living and food resilience
Every dollar counts. Every seed sown brings us closer to a thriving, connected Tokoroa.
How You Can Help:
-Donate what you can—every contribution makes a difference
-Share this page with your friends, whānau, and networks
-Follow our journey and help us spread the word
Ngā mihi nui for supporting our kaupapa. Together, we can cultivate harmony-one garden bed at a time.

We have thankfully provided our community with a few nourishing harvests.
We continue to raise funds for a greenhouse, added garden beds, timed water irrigation, and a part time garden manager who would support maintenance, plant, harvest, distribution and watering needs, also setup education workshops and provide access to volunteers.
Food security and education are top priority to alleviate poverty and, provide a sustainable and nourishing future.
With your help, we can do so much more for our community. Please consider supporting us today.
Our gratitude to your generous donation Robyn
