LIFE AFTER CHEMO; Help Sophia battle cancer after chemo.

Sophia is a single mother of 4 boys, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, an aunt/mother/counsellor to many nieces and nephews.

She is our cheerleader and planner for family sports competitions and events. Basically our everything; and she is fighting the battle of her life, the battle against cancer.

She was teaching in early childhood while privately battling an auto-immune disease for just over 20 years now her battle has grown more difficult with cancer alongside it.

August 6th 2020 a couple days before her birthday she was diagnosed with a invasive her2 grade 3 breast cancer.

She is currently going through chemo which has physically taken its toll on her quality of life around daily activities we take for granted.

Before her 2nd to last chemo treatment she was told there will be no tests to check to see if she’s cancer free. With her cancer she’ll be treated till cancer metastasis which is end of life stage.

We are looking into alternative and complementary treatments with diet and naturopathy among other things. This will strengthen her as she battles against cancer.

Though we are hopeful and fighting alongside her for a full recovery there is the harsh reality that we may need to use whatever is raised here for her funeral costs to take the burden off her sons.

Unfortunately alternative and complementary treatments aren’t funded nor are they cheap, so we’re asking for you to give what is at your hearts content, if it be dollars, or prayers, or sharing this page; they would all be hugely appreciated.

We don't want to give her up, we want more TIME with her, we want her here for many more years.
