Help Us Print NZ’s First Surgical Menopause Booklet

  • Final update: Thank you

      25 April 2026

Our Givealittle campaign has now closed. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and supported this project.

Together, we raised $735 toward printing New Zealand’s first surgical menopause booklet.

While we didn’t reach our full goal, these funds will still allow us to print and distribute copies to healthcare settings, ensuring patients can access clear, supportive information when they need it most.

We’re incredibly grateful for your support. This is a small but important step toward making surgical menopause more visible and better understood in Aotearoa New Zealand.

    Ngā mihi nui,

    Surgical Menopause New Zealand Trust

  • When life gets in the Way

      23 January 2026

Sometimes the best-laid plans meet real life.

Over the past few months, our small team has been navigating some unexpected life challenges. As a result, we haven’t been able to give this campaign the time, energy and visibility it truly deserves. Rather than quietly closing it early, we’ve decided to extend the Givealittle page through to the end of April.

This extension gives us a chance to see whether we can attract a little more support over the next few months. That said, we also want to be transparent: if what has already been raised ends up being the final amount, that’s okay too.

Every dollar raised will still be used as intended. We’ll simply print as many booklets as the funds allow, ensuring they reach people who need clear, honest information about surgical menopause.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, or supported this work so far. Your belief in this project means more than we can easily put into words.

  • Our surgical menopause booklet is now ready, and we’re officially launching the print campaign!

      3 November 2025

A few months ago, we launched this campaign before the booklet was available online. The first surgical menopause booklet in Aotearoa is now live as a PDF on our website!

We’re now focused on getting this vital resource in clinical settings across Aotearoa, so patients can access a tangible, high-quality guide when they need it most.

Thank you for helping make surgical menopause visible and supported!
