Help us raise money to get as many students as possible to come on Music Tour 2025.
Auckland
We are a small school in Pakuranga, Auckland. Every year we have a mission to take our amazing students away for a few days to share their music with other schools and retirement centres. Many of our students come from hardship. We need your help to get as many of them on tour and experience the joy of music making and putting smiles on the faces of the young and old.
You may be reading this, and it may bring back some fond memories of coming on Music Tours while you were at Edgewater College. Firstly, yes, Mr Holmes is still at Edgewater (18 years and going strong) and he needs your help. Can you donate a few dollars to help get our current group of music students on tour. This is such a highlight for the year for so many and I'm sure it was for you as well. Even if you didn't come on one of our amazing tours, I am sure you would love to help out. Times are tough I know, but I also know that generosity is still alive. Any help financially would be amazing.

I have taught at Edgewater College for 18 years. Thats a long time. I love this place, I loved having you in the dept if I was lucky enough to teach you.
Use of funds
The money raised will help bring down the overall cost of Music Tour this year. The money will help pay for buses, accomodation and food.

EC Tour 2025 - complete 21 September 2025
Hi there everyone. I just wanted to do a final shout out to everybody to say one last time, a huge thank you for your support this year in our fundraiser. We have just returned last night and we are all exhausted but had such a wonderful time away together. We did five performances at primary schools and Retirement Centre’s, we managed to get out and see some of the beautiful scenery of the Bay of Plenty area as well as many of my students have never been down that way before. Sure, I got no sleep but that’s what coffee is for right? At the end of tour I received a handwritten card from one of my year 13 students with beautiful words about how music tour over the last four years of their lives has really made an impact on her confidence and ability to grow new friends. They were hugely thankful for the opportunities to go away and have these experiences And they will remember them forever. That’s why I do what I do I guess. Thanks again everybody, you are all amazing people.
