Life has taken my family on an unexpected journey, filled with challenges we never saw coming. We moved to India when my firstborn was just 3 months old, planning a short stay. But soon after, my father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer. We put our plans on hold to care for him. Then, COVID-19 locked us in place, preventing our return.
Years passed, and just as we thought things might improve, my husband fell into the depths of addiction. His battle has been heartbreaking, impacting not just him but our entire family. He recently went to rehab, but true recovery requires a stable, supportive environment—something we struggle to provide here.
New Zealand offers us a fresh start. A place where my children can grow up in security, my husband can heal, and I can rebuild our lives. But the cost of moving—flights, housing, and essentials—is overwhelming. I cannot do this alone. Total Estimated Amount Needed: NZ$50,000 (flights, housing, general financial aid)

Use of funds
Flights and travel expenses to New Zealand, housing expenses, medical, school expenses for my children, and basic living costs until I secure stable employment. If we do not reach our full goal, we will prioritize the most critical expenses to ensure we can still move and continue fundraising/seeking other financial assistance to cover remaining costs.
Every contribution will be used wisely to ensure we can make progress toward coming back to New Zealand, even if it takes longer than planned.
