    We are a team of unaffiliated volunteers focused on rebuilding native habitat right on Hokitika's doorstep. The site itself is layered with history - ecological, community, and personal - it's a place where tools, time, and people come together to make something better.

    Our goal is simple: make this kind of work easier to do. Every dollar from this page will go directly into practical needs like tools, plant protection, and PPE. We’ll share cost breakdowns soon via an update or on our website.

    We're currently setting up a mailing at https://announce.wadeson.chris-nz.com/, which we’ll use to publicly launch this page and share key updates. Right now, we wanted to quietly say thank you to the early crew who’ve helped get us this far.

    Big things are coming! In our next update, we’ll announce a survey with giveaways!
