    Thank you EVERYONE who donated !We now have our new four skiff ! This beauty, (art work by Vera Bucsu from Laszlo Boats) is now in our fleet and was named the "Natalie Marriott" who is a teacher from Westlake boys and who has been coaching for the last 8 years . We could not have done it without your help and grants from New Zealand Community Trust and Pub Charity . THANK YOU !

    THANK YOU everyone , we are happy to let you know that we received another grant from Pub Charity which as enabled us to comit to purchasing a new rowing skiff by the deadline date . We could'nt have done it with out YOUR help and support and are forever grateful .

    As a Society we have some incredible people on board and one of our parents has set up her own Give A Little page. Clare Logan will be walking the length of New Zealand in the next 6 months. She has opted to raise money for our invaluble coaches and also for a hardship fund for talented rowers who need financial support . Clare's employer - Vodafone will match her donations up to $3,000.00 per financial year - this is a fantastic way to double the money . If there's any room for you to support Clare's cause or share the link - we'd truly appreciated it !

  • Half way to our goal !

    THANK YOU so much everyone for your support , Westlake Boys High School Rowing Society have been blown away by your generous support . Our boys start training at 0520 three week day mornings , then half a day Saturday ,as well as juggling their school work and exam timetables . Our program breeds motivated , disciplined and hard working young men , who want to bring their best to all aspects of their lives . THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING US HAVE ENOUGH BOATS ON THE WATER , TO BE OUR MOST COMPETITIVE .
