Funds raised will go towards Caleb’s recovery, rehabilitation, and supporting his whānau while they remain by his side in Christchurch.

Four weeks ago, my close friend Caleb’s life changed suddenly after a swimming accident in Upper Hutt. While swimming with friends, Caleb suffered a serious injury that resulted in a broken neck and a bruised spinal cord.
Caleb is currently in Christchurch with his whānau by his side. At this stage, the road ahead is uncertain. The recovery process from a spinal cord injury can be long and complex, and right now there are still many unknowns about what Caleb’s journey will look like.
What I do know is that Caleb is surrounded by an incredible amount of love and support. His whānau has dropped everything to be with him during this incredibly difficult time, supporting him through hospital care and the early stages of recovery.
I am starting this Givealittle page to help ease some of the financial pressure that comes with a situation like this. Funds raised will go towards Caleb’s recovery, rehabilitation, and supporting his whānau while they remain by his side in Christchurch.
Acc will provide some support but this will not cover everything.
Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference and will help Caleb and his whānau focus on what matters most right now; healing and taking each day as it comes.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would also mean the world.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and for keeping Caleb and his whānau in your thoughts.
A close friend
Funds raised will go towards Caleb’s recovery, unfunded rehabilitation such as equipment he may need and supporting him and his family with travel and living costs while they support his recovery
