Support for Bonnie & Kade during this absolutely heartbreaking time after Kades accident leaving Bonnie devastated & broken hearted.

Richmond, Tasman

Labour weekend 2023, Bonnie’s son Kade had a very unfortunate accident, falling from his motorbike resulting in a badly broken leg. At the time it was thought of as nothing too serious & Bonnie was expecting him to be home in no time on the couch recovering from surgery.

After being admitted to hospital requiring surgery, sadly, Kade took a turn for the worse, a very rare condition occurred & Kade was put into an induced coma. Fatty embolisms had gone through his lungs making it difficult for him to breathe, an MRI later showed the fats had also progressed through his brain.

Sadly this has resulted in a bright, kind, caring young man at 21 with his whole life & so much potential ahead of him being left with minimal brain function & machines keeping him alive.

With Kade being Bonnie's only son, it is unimaginable what she is going through, the coming weeks are going to provide many challenges, mentally, physically, and emotionally for Bonnie who has always been an absolute rock & the most devoted and caring mother for Kade.

Please, if you can help at all to support, we would hugely appreciate any donations towards the unexpected costs she will be facing in the coming weeks. No amount of money will be able to change what has happened, but we may be able to provide some financial relief & alleviate some stress & pressure during this time.

Any donations big or small will be gratefully accepted by Bonnie and her family. Thank you for showing your support at this difficult time.
