We wanted to share an update on Stephanie’s journey. Her surgery, which was originally scheduled for last Friday, was postponed to 15 May due to an infection. The medical team has reassured us that this delay will not affect her overall health or treatment outcome. It’s important that her body is in the best possible condition before surgery, especially as the procedure involves a skin graft, and we want to minimise any risk of rejection.

While this is a little setback, we are staying positive and focusing on getting Stephanie’s infection cleared so she’s strong and ready for her surgery. Thank you all so much for your ongoing support, kind words, and generosity — it means the world to our family.

We’ll continue to keep you updated as things progress.

    With gratitude

    Update on Stephanie

We’re so relieved to share that Stephanie’s PET scan results are back, and thankfully the melanoma has not spread anywhere else in her body. This is such a positive step forward, and now we can focus on her recovery.

The next stage is surgery to remove some of the surrounding tissue, followed by a skin graft. We’re feeling hopeful and incredibly grateful for the love and support that continues to surround Stephanie through this journey.

Her little dog Georgie is also doing really well after his surgery. He’s having physio three times a day—and Stephanie’s right there with him, doing it together. They’re healing side by side.
