Help Pregnancy Help to provide families whānau with a gift of premature baby clothing and woollens.
Otago
There are times when families/ whānau need a helping hand, and when they do we try to be there for them. Sometimes the helping hand is when a little one has arrived early or is small for term and some premature baby clothing is needed (It can be so deflating not having clothing that is small enough for baby to wear, and if baby is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit it is a huge and very exciting milestone to be able to dress baby for the first time). Another time when a helping hand is needed is when little ones need some help to keep warm with some items like woollen singlets, booties, and hats.
A donation of $10 to us buys enough merino wool for our wonderful knitters to knit one baby singlet, and a donation of $12 to us helps us to buy one premature sized baby onesie.
Everything that we provide is always a gift - all of our services are free, all of the time, so we'd really appreciate your help to be able to provide these gifts to families/ whānau. Ngā mihi.
We provide information, advice, and practical support to families whānau in Ōtepoti/ Dunedin (baby and children's clothing, baby bedding, nappies, pregnancy clothing, bassinets, pēpi-pods, and wahakura)
Funds will be used to buy wool, and premature sized baby clothing.
Ngā mihi for your support, Brenda (We can't do any part of what we do without our wonderful community)
