Help us to be part of the village supporting families whānau in Ōtepoti/ Dunedin
Otago
They say that it takes a village to raise a child, and here at Pregnancy Help we're a firm believer in this. What do we do as part of our village? In general terms it's about caring for people. In practical terms it means running a drop-in centre in the heart of South Dunedin ; providing a safe space for people to be able to share if things are hard (or share when things are good); providing woollens and merinos to help to keep little ones warm; providing sleep spaces (bassinets, pēpi-pods, and wahakura) so that little ones have a safe space to sleep in; providing starter packs of baby clothing; providing as many nappies as we can; and providing other items such as pregnancy clothing. Everything that we do is always a gift - all of our services are free, all of the time. At times we're providing a helping hand, but we're also very much about reusing (What's not to love about saving money, and doing good things for the environment at the same time?) We'd really appreciate if you'd become part of our community by making a donation to us (We don't receive any government funding, so we rely on the support of individual donors, and other funding organisations). Ngā mihi.
We provide information, advice, and practical support to families whānau in Ōtepoti/ Dunedin (baby and children's clothing, baby bedding, nappies, pregnancy clothing, bassinets, pēpi-pods, and wahakura)
They definitely are very awesome!
