Help Val avoid skin cancer

Kia ora, my name is Val and I'm a chronically ill disabled person currently trying to reduce cancer risks in the very broken, very underfunded NZ healthcare system. I am high risk for skin cancer due to immunosuppressive medication and other medical history. The healthcare system is unfortunately too understaffed to be accepting a public referral from me at this time. The longer I go without proper intervention obviously increases my risk and so I made the decision to go private to ensure any cancer risks are reduced as much as possible, especially if the histology result is positive for malignancies. I have had two suspicious moles removed previously for suspected skin cancer which thankfully have been negative, and I would prefer to keep that streak going.

The total cost for the givealittle includes the cost for the procedure, anaesthesia, total excision and histology. Any extra funding over the goal will go towards petrol/transport, items for recovery, any extra costs added during surgery. The initial appointment and skin exam has already been completed and paid for.
