Vanessa has received today her first dose of eculizumab.

I don't think I'm able to put into words how grateful she is for the tremendous outpouring of love and support she's receiving from every single one of you. She would do a far better job at telling you how thankful she is than I could ever do. Once she's gotten enough rest, you will hear it directly from her.
