Help Verron Care for Melissa & Grayson During an Unimaginable Time

    When we created this Givealittle page, we hoped to ease some of the financial pressure on Verron, Melissa, and Grayson and give them something truly precious – more time together.

    Today, we are overwhelmed to share that we not only reached our goal of **$50,000**, but surpassed it, raising an incredible **$50,632.15**.

    Verron, Melissa, and Grayson are deeply grateful to every person who donated, shared a post, sent a message of encouragement, or simply kept them in their thoughts and prayers.

    What started as a fundraiser became a beautiful reminder that kindness still exists in abundance. Friends, family, businesses, community groups, media, and complete strangers from across New Zealand came together to support a family they had never met.

    ❤️ Givealittle Update ❤️

    We continue to be absolutely blown away by the kindness, generosity, and support being shown to Verron, Melissa, and Grayson.

    This weekend, a local Tauranga woman bravely shaved her hair after seeing Max Baird and the team at The Breeze Tauranga get behind sharing this family’s story. Moments like this remind us just how powerful community can be.

    Through everything they are facing, Melissa and Verron continue to be in awe of Grayson’s incredible ability to smile despite living with a life-limiting disease and being unable to communicate his pain or discomfort. His strength continues to inspire everyone around him.

    We are so incredibly grateful for the kindness, generosity, and support that has been shown to Verron, Melissa, and Grayson.

    Thanks to this amazing community, we are now approaching $50,000 raised — something we never could have imagined, and we are truly humbled by every single donation, message, and share.

    But the reality is, the journey ahead is still ongoing.

    Verron is still working seven days a week while caring for Melissa and Grayson, and our focus remains the same — to help ease that pressure so he can be present with his family during this incredibly important time.

    We are incredibly humbled to share that, thanks to your generosity Verron, Melissa & Graysons givealittle page has now raised $15,415 with 155 donations.

    Verron & Melissa are feeling completely overwhelmed in the best possible way. They are deeply touched be the kindness, messages, & support that have come from so many people. It has made them feel truly loved and reminded them that they are surrounded by people that truely care.

    Knowing that so many people are standing beside them during this time has been incredibly uplifting for the whole family.
