We have now paid the first 50% deposit for the required acoustic assessment, allowing the resource consent process to officially begin.
This initial payment of $2,875 has been funded directly from WAGS Rescue NZ's operating funds — money that would normally be used for vet treatment, vaccinations, desexing, and the ongoing care of the dogs in our rescue.
While we are committed to doing everything possible to secure consent and protect the future of WAGS, this has placed significant pressure on our rescue finances. We are urgently seeking support to replenish these funds so we can continue providing the medical care and rehabilitation our dogs depend on.
