Today was all about cleaning , finishing the preparation in the kitchen and pulling the floors out of the kitchen and bathroom !!
The decorators are in this evening to paint the ceilings !!! 👍🏻😎
Builders are also in tonight finishing the doors and fitting them in tonight as we needed to make the door frames bigger for Wendy to get in and out of her home 🏡😇
The new flooring is coming to be later in the bathroom on Monday!!’
YAY 😅😅😅😅
Tomorrow is the day when the undercoat is going on EVERYWHERE !!!
We’re nearly there now homeward bound !!
Wendy will back in her home on Monday after 10 days/nights away !!

Well we’ve been extremely busy bees we have sealed, sanded , skimmed , prepped the walls.
The outside of Wendy’s house has been cleared !! YAY
she’s said there the concrete she hasn’t seen for 8 years at least !!!
The builders are in tonight making the wider door frames and putting the new front and back door in for Wendy working late.
We said good bye to three key bees and I day Faith , Russell and Noeline that had to travel back to Hawkes bay and to Wellington , they’re absolute trooper and will be missed immensely!!!

So much work got done today all the walls are stripped , the ceiling is clean ready to be painted and the wall prep oil has been applied to walls that have drains from all the scraping !!😅😅😅😅😅
Windows and skirting boards have been cleaned it makes the place feel so fresh now !!
There’s such a beautiful happy vibe in the house, it’s full of love and laughter and even singling which always make everyone happy 😆

Today we had the builders in knocking Wendy’s walls down and it’s created a huge living area for her.
All the carpet has been pulled up and the floors are being prepared for the new flooring to go down.
We have had the curtains made and they’ll be ready to be picked up next week !!
We have a big skip ordered to be with us on Monday so the clearing of the garden can be chucked out and everything cleared away to be tidy for the gardener to start the transformation outside.
Wendy is settled into the hotel now for the next 9 days
Wendy and I have been scrapping wallpaper off the walls getting it all ready for the volunteers that will be joining us on Monday.
People will be there to help clear the outside of Wendy’s house and to help get the walls prepped , plastered and ready for painting.
It’s a huge change for Wendy already and the house is starting to have totally different fresher vibe to it !!
We’re all back in tomorrow to continue this wonderful project.
I feel amazing amd very excited for more to come.

Today we had Flooring Xtra come and measure up Wendy’s flooring situation!!!
We’ve chosen a wooden floor throughout and vinyl in the bathroom.
We’ll know more in a week about cost !!
We also bought 3 Flexi bins from mitre 10 today so the clearing can start as early as tomorrow!!
The wheels are definitely rolling now !!
