Help Wesley get an Autism Diagnosis and Start a Creative Business Because He's Sick of This S**t.

Hello busy bees and beautiful people. 🐝

After many years of suspecting it, I am making a big push to get an autism diagnosis. There are many reasons to believe that I may be autistic, from family history to having many traits. I love being autistic – having lots of special interests and being really creative is great! However it has also caused some difficulty in my life. I have suffered a lot from depression and mental illness, and found it difficult to do things many others can do like study, hold down a job or get a drivers license.

Because of this I am in a difficult position. I am too high functioning to get an assessment funded, but too low functioning to earn the money for an assessment myself. So, I thought I would try funding it through a Givealittle page. Having proof on paper would greatly help me – it would allow me to get appropriate assistance and therapy, build connection and community, and provide me with proof of a disability so that I can continue to get funding to live.

Any money earned above that amount will go towards helping me start my own creative business and to pay for a business mentor, so I can work and earn money doing what I love (busking, poetry, comedy, writing, editing, etc).
