Help with Kylo's vet bill

Yesterday morning (Wed 27th March) some time between 6 and 7am someone's dog was not secured and roamed our street, wandered down our long driveway and found our kitty Kylo where it pinned and crushed his throat in 3 places and shook him with such force that it dislocated his voice box, thankfully somehow he managed to make his way home where we could find him and rush to the nearest vet, they managed to stabilize him but said he needed urgent surgery to survive, however the vet was unwilling to do anything without some form of upfront payment or a credit card or insurance which we were in the process of getting before this happened.

The vets attempted to save him by reconstruction surgery but unfortunately despite being medicated and sedated, it was too much for his little heart and he passed away, unfortunately the vet is not willing to let us pay off the final bill and will not release his body or ashes until they receive full payment of $2500, I don't ask strangers for help but we have no one else to turn to and we just want our baby home.
