Help Yass & Kelly get to Thailand to represent NZ in Muay Thai World Championships!

Auckland

My partner Yassin and I have made it onto the New Zealand Senior Black Gloves team to represent NZ in Thailand for the 2019 IFMA Muay Thai World Championships.

We will be going with a team of 11 athletes, both male and female, competing in different weight classes.

We are both current champions and hold 3 titles each and will be aiming for Gold in our weight classes. This event is a qualifier for the World Games in America in 2021. The World Games are for non-Olympic sports.

We aim to increase the awareness of martial arts in New Zealand so we encourage kiwis to get behind all martial artists, especially when competing on the world stage.

We also want to increase the exposure for NZ fighters overseas.

As this World Games qualifier is less than 10 weeks away, we would appreciate any support to help cover costs and get us there. At this stage, it is completely self funded, but we will be looking into the possibility of funding or sponsorships.

We are absolutely honoured to get the chance to represent New Zealand and we aim to show the rest of the world NZ’s talent.

Use of funds
