Help Yuliya the alpaca get a rotten tooth extracted by an alpaca dental surgeon

    Although the dental surgery was unable to remove all the tooth, the rotten part

    was removed and it is hoped that the rest of the tooth will fall out naturally after time. Yuliya's face has completely healed and there is no sign of the abscess that initiated the need for surgery. I will continue to monitor her but at the moment all is looking good.     Unfortunately did not go as planned. Dental surgeon was only able to pull out half the tooth with the other half firmly embedded so more surgery is on the cards within the next couple of weeks after the part of the tooth that remains becomes looser. Let's hope next time is a success.

  • Date confirmed for Yuliya's dental surgery

    The surgery for Yuliya to get her rotten tooth removed is scheduled to take place on 1st September. It's not too locate to donate.
