assistance requested to help Zane raise travel costs for junior Olympics
Northland
Zane is a 13 year old Kerikeri high school student who has over the past five years been goalie for the Northland Stingrays inline hockey team, that has now been selected to represent New Zealand as part of the u14 teams to travel to the AAu junior olympics in July 2019.
The sport being a minority sport in NZ is self funded, with goalies (and families)having to purchase their own safety player gear (usually in excess of $3,000.00), and fund raise or pay their own way for all national trips and travel to attend national training squads.
The total required by Zane's family to attend exceeds $5,000.00 plus the gear they have had to purchase over the past 6 months ($3,000.00), Zane has saved and is completing chores to fund raise so we are seeking a top up to other efforts.
Funds will be used towards Zanes own savings for travel costs to attend 2019 AAU Olympics.
If for any reason Zane cannot attend all funds will be donated to junior development for NISC Stingrays (zanes home club)
