Hello! My name is Zeta Hittmann and I have been selected to compete at the World youth climbing championships in Moscow later this year.
Waikato
My name is Zeta Hittmann and I am 15 years old. Earlier this year at the Wellington rock climbing trials I was selected for the Climbing New Zealand team consisting of 12 climbers.
In August later this year, I will be heading to Moscow, Russia with the New Zealand team to compete at the IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing) World Youth Championships. This will be an incredible opportunity for me and I am so humbled to be accepted.
This is now my 5th year climbing, I began in the kids club at Extreme Edge Hamilton in 2014 and started competing in National competitions in 2015. As soon as I started, I knew that climbing was the sport for me. I have had a very successful few years in the competition circuit and I am excited for competition season to start up once again. Recently, I represented New Zealand in the Oceania championships in New Caledonia which was such a fantastic opportunity, I felt so privileged to wear the silver fern.
And now, in just a few months time I will be heading to Moscow to represent my country with pride. I am training very hard for this event and want to be the best climber possible when I get there. However, there are significant costs involved competing in an International competition. Any generous donations to help fund my trip to Moscow would be greatly appreciated, every little bit helps.
Thank you very much,
Zeta Hittmann :)
Any generous funds will go towards costs of the trip such as flights, accommodation, training and uniform costs.
Thank you so much :) Zeta -
Thanks so much for all the support, you are amazing xx Zeta
Thank you so much! Climbing is such a great sport, it’s so cool that it’s getting bigger and bigger in NZ. I’m very excited for the champs later this year :) Zeta
