Please help my sisters and I spend time with our dad, he has terminal cancer with up to two months left with us

Auckland

Please help my sisters and I spend time with our dad. He has terminal cancer of the esophagus.

Initially, we were advised that he had up to 5years but due to recent complications such as a blood clot and a bleeding internal tumour this has

recently been dramatically reduced and will be lucky if he makes it another 2months

As you could imagine this is a very hard time on the family increased with the fact that my sisters and I live in Auckland and he is in Christchurch.

On top of the location issue, finances are tight for us as my sisters have young families and I have used up all my annual and sick leave as I have been spending time in Christchurch with my dad as often as I could.

As you can appreciate with bills and trying to make ends meet the costs for airfares and travel soon mount up.

Any donations received will be used towards airfares and associated travel costs to Christchurch.

Excess funds from donations for this cause shall be donated to the Cancer Society of NZ
