89 year old Grandmother robbed in hospital after surgery

Thanks so much for the donations and prayers for Mrs Chung's recovery. After surviving a 3-4 hr operation to pin and bolt her femur back together, she has been making steady progress. Not surprisingly, she is still NOT very steady on the feet and she gets easily exhausted by trips to the bathroom etc. The family is determined to make her home as functional and 'user friendly' as possible. Our goal is now to raise $1,500 to fund an 'adjustable height bed' . . . plus funding to try to create a level-access walk-in (or wheel-in) shower and toilet. Unfortunately, we have been informed that their is no Government assistance available for these things. But onward and upward, we will continue to try and find a way to ensure that she is as fully supported as possible . The LESS good news . . . no progress on identifying the thieves who stole her money and earrings from her hospital bedside table following her operation!
