Nationwide

Debbie Rowberry is a Child Therapist based in South Auckland. She specialises in helping Children who have been exposed to Family Violence and Trauma.

Debbie also develops and facilitates programmes in schools for vulnerable children.

There is a growing need for sponsorship of Children to receive Therapy, as funding is limited. All levels of society are affected by family Violence, however the children with the greatest needs are often from poor families who are unable to pay for Therapy.

There are many ways that you could help sponsor.

Willow Therapy Farm, based in Clevedon provides the Horses Healing Kids- Child Behavioural Therapy Programme. You may like to sponsor food or vets costs for one of the Therapy Ponies or dogs.

Willow Social and Emotional Learning Programmes for Schools is an Emotion Regulation Education Programme for vulnerable Children. You may like to help sponsor a programme within a school to help address bullying.

Or you may like to contribute towards the cost of Therapy for a needy child.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
