Help Nadia on her recovery journey!

Canterbury

As many of you may know back in July Nadia was involved in a serious car accident, Nadia sustained many injuries, the worst being to her spine. Nadia's T6 vertebrae was crushed causing an incomplete spinal cord injury, paralysing her from her waist down.

This event has had a dramatic effect on her and the family, causing many huge changes to our lives. Nadia has been through hell and back, experiencing the worst pain imaginable. Everyday she keeps a positive outlook on life and carries on trying her best.

There is still hope that Nadia may walk one day but for now she is beginning to learn from scratch her new life in a wheelchair.

Seeing Nadias determination to push herself everyday has truly inspired me and made me realise just how much we take simple day to day activities for granted.

Through this I have been inspired to push myself everyday in support of Nadia.

November 7th 2015 Sueann Jones and I will be running a half marathon(21km) to raise funds to get Nadia home and back to everyday life.

All your donation's will 100% be going towards Nadia and her recovery. We thank you all in advance for your support!

Bring on November!

Much Love Chantal xx

After seeing the strength and determination my sister has towards her recovery, I have decided that I will do this half marathon for her.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
