To help Nikki with costs after her lung transplant, she is up in Auckland for 3 months or longer after.
Bay of Plenty
Firstly This page was set up to help Nikki get a portable oxygen concentrator, to improve her quality of life while waiting for a lung transplant, But this week the hospital has got funding and is able to get her one, so thankyou every one that has donated, The page was for Two things firstly that and second for the cost during and after her transplant as she is up in auckland for 3 months after, so now the money raised will be to assist them with on going costs for the few months after her surgery.
Nikki was born with cystic fibrosis and has had a lot of challenges along the way, spending half her life in and out of hospital, slowly over the years her lungs have deteriorated to the point of now needing this transplant.
She is married and has one beautiful little girl skyla who is nearly 5.
Things that people take for granted like having a 5 minute shower or getting ready in the morning, this can take nikki an hour to do due to coughing and not been able to breath.
Not been able to run around with her daughter and do daily activities with her.
Some days she cant leave the house as she is to tired and has no energy and needs oxygen.
