Gridiron fundraiser

$274 of $2,000 goal
Given by 4 generous donors in 6 weeks

Fundraising for gridiron event called the Down Under Bowl, held in Australia and Hawaii. Hopefully from this I can pursue a football career.

Auckland

I created this givealittle page to help myself get to the Down Under Bowl, which is held in Australia for 4 days and Hawaii for 3 days. I will hopefully be going on the 23rd of June for a week. There will be a few American colleges attending this event as well, and hopefully one of them will see my potential and passion for the sport. I really want to pursue a career in American football as I love the sport and feel I have the talent for it. I have been playing American Football for 4 years, playing tight end for the South Auckland Raiders and also representing New Zealand in a exhibition match against Australia. Attending this event will open many opportunities for me. In return for your generous donations I will hopefully successfully pursue my dreams and put New Zealand on the map in the football field in America.

Use of funds

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
