Please help our friends with the on going cost associated with the recovery of their two precious children.
Bay of Plenty
On Monday 12 September a devoted mother/wife and dear friend along side her two beautiful children (2 1/2 year old girl and 11 month old boy) were struck down by a passing vehicle whilst out walking in Pukehina, Bay of Plenty.
Due to the severity of their injuries, the children had to be transferred to other hospitals that could best meet their needs - the little girl to Waikato Hospital and the boy to Starship in Auckland. The father is in Auckland with his son while his wife currently remains in Tauranga hospital. Of course, this has placed additional pressure on the family at an already difficult time.
This family needs your support, to help deal with the costs associated with bringing family together and travelling between hospitals, now and into the future, so that they can face the challenging road to recovery.
Long time family friend.
Mason's update #2 29 September 2016
Hi everyone just a short update
Mason is being transferred back to Tauranga hospital children's ward today he is going forward with leaps and bounds and surgeons are happy for Tauranga to take care of everyday needs until the hip spica comes off which is 3-4 weeks then back up here for his Rehab
He got to try yoghurt yesterday and cried when we had to stop but no holding him back now.
While we know that there are so many people that would love to visit him we ask that you respect the fact he needs lots of rest for his healing process and brain injury so if your wanting to visit at any stage please text or message me or Richard Easton first. ??
We are being transferred home via ambulance so I'm sure he'll enjoy the ride. ????
Just so happy to be moving that little bit closer to home.
Thanking you all for your continuing prayers, love and support through our journey xxxxxxx
