Sandys training to become a car seat tech

Hi everyone. I've noticed there is a real need for a car seat technician in the area to help parents and others to make sure their kids car seats are installed correctly. A car seat technician is trained to install a variety of kids seats to make sure they are in correctly and suit the child as there are soo many option out there its often hard to decide on something suitable.

What im wanting to do is become trained so i can offer this service to people without having to travel out of Whitianga. Will also try and get around to kindys and schools to try and educate parents on the best practice regarding carseats.

To become trained it costs $310 to do the course and itl be two trips away to Tauranga, which will be approx $70 fuel each trip. As a mum with 2kids we dont have alot of money spare so thats why im asking for help.

Anyone who donates over $10 i will do a free install for them once i am trained. Places out of town charge around $30. I will be wanting to charge $10- $20 for this service but will have discounts for csc holders to try and help people out.

Im not in it to make money, am wanting to help people out but get a little bit for my time.

If i happen to get more than i need i will use the money for making educational flyers to leave at daycares.
