Wanting a wheelchair accessible van to make a hard time easier on Stevie-Ray and his family
Auckland
Stevie-Ray is a 10 year old who was a very active young boy until his life got flipped upside down on Tuesday 1st November 2016 when he woke up and couldn't move his legs. He was rushed to Starship Children's Hospital where he was diagnosed with a tumor wrapped around his spinal cord which is terminal. He has had to accept so many difficult changes to life with no warning. One day he was walking the next he was in a wheelchair. He has had to leave his home town in the Bay of Plenty which is where most of his family and friends are so he can continue his fight against this horrible disease that is trying to bring him down.
I am Stevie Ray's mother and am wanting to make life a little easier for my boy with all the changes he has had to make already
to purchase a disability van for Stevie Ray to get in and out of in his wheelchair safely
Tumor has spread 28 April 2017
